Close More of the Opportunities You Already Have
Your pipeline may have more potential than it shows
A business can generate plenty of enquiries and still struggle to close them. Leads become opportunities, proposals are sent and the pipeline slowly fills with deals that never move forward.
Before asking for more leads, look at the opportunities already being lost. The problem may be speed, clarity, follow-up, trust or fit rather than volume.
Find the moments that change the decision
Ask lost prospects what happened after the enquiry, during the proposal and before the final decision. Their answers can reveal where confidence dropped or where another supplier made the buying process easier.
The most useful feedback is often practical: the first reply came too late, the quote was difficult to compare, the salesperson did not explain the next step or the buyer could not see why the offer was worth the cost.
Improve the process before scaling it
Fixing one recurring obstacle can improve the value of every future lead. A faster response, clearer proposal or better follow-up rhythm may create more sales without increasing advertising spend.
AskMarshal helps sales directors identify those obstacles from direct buyer feedback and focus coaching and process improvements where they are most needed.
More opportunities should become more sales
The aim is not to force every opportunity to close. It is to understand why good opportunities are lost and remove the avoidable friction that keeps the right buyers from choosing you.
